Service Description

The treatment of chronic pelvic pain is our passion at Core Moves. At the same time, we understand that taking the step to begin pelvic floor physical therapy can feel big — and sometimes even intimidating. That’s why we are hosting a free educational workshop for individuals navigating pelvic pain and related symptoms. This hour-long session is designed to provide a comfortable, informative environment where you can learn more about pelvic pain, ask questions, and better understand how a whole-body approach to treatment can help you move forward with confidence. Pelvic pain can be confusing, frustrating, and often isolating. Many people are told that their imaging is normal or that symptoms are simply something they will have to live with. But pelvic pain rarely exists in isolation, and understanding the full picture of how the body functions can open the door to meaningful progress. At Core Moves, our team of pelvic floor physical therapists and Pilates instructors approaches pelvic pain through a whole-body, whole-system lens. Rather than focusing only on the site of symptoms, we evaluate how the nervous system, movement patterns, breathing mechanics, fascial tension, and prior injuries all interact to influence pain. During this workshop, we will introduce our Pelvic Pain Pathway to Relief, a treatment framework built around three phases: Reset – calming the nervous system and reducing threat signals that amplify pain Retrain – improving coordination, movement patterns, and pelvic floor function Reload – rebuilding strength and resilience so the body can tolerate daily life and activity again Participants will also experience a live demonstration of our Central Nervous System Reset, illustrating how restrictions and pain in one area of the body are often connected to broader patterns within the nervous and musculoskeletal systems. This workshop is designed to provide education, clarity, and practical insight into how pelvic pain develops and how a comprehensive treatment approach can help individuals return to movement and function. Whether you are newly navigating pelvic pain or have been searching for answers for years, this session aims to provide a clearer understanding of what may be happening in your body.
